The Henry Smith House is more than just a venue - amidst 3 acres of stunning grounds, you will encounter brick walkways, majestic oaks, decorative fountains, and affectionately maintained flora gardens all to make for not only a breathtaking landscape for your wedding, but for a lifetime of memorable photographs for you to look back on in years to come. With access to the entire property and our tenured wedding staff, our couples are able to choose from a variety of amenities, events, cuisine and accommodations to make their special day absolutely perfect!
Rehearsal Dinners
From an intimate seated dinner with refined plates to a casual outdoor BBQ, we can create the perfect atmosphere and cuisine for your rehearsal dinner. Ask about our menus! *Couples that book their Rehearsal dinner with us receive a complimentary night’s stay in our Bridal Suite the night of their wedding!
The Ceremony

The Chapel
The Henry Smith House property has five locations that are used for ceremonies (depending on the number of guests). Our most popular is the Garden Lawn, which can host large groups and has a beautiful archway and brick aisle. Our custom wedding chapel is a breathtaking spot for photography and small, traditional ceremonies with up to 30 guests.
The Reception
The Henry Smith House receptions are hosted on our stunning 4,800 sq. ft. covered pavilion and can comfortably fit up to 250 guests. We provide gold Chiavari chairs, tables and linens that give the space a magical feel. For chilly nights, we have a wood burning fireplace and heaters available.
On-Site Catering
Our on-site culinary team will create the perfect multi-course menu for your reception. Choose from hundreds of combinations of entrees and sides, including Southern favorites like Crawfish Pies, Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya, and Shrimp Creole. Seated formal dinner menus and food station options are both available. Ask about our packages!
Lodging
One of the many benefits to booking your special day at The Henry Smith House is our on-site accommodations. Book our spacious suites for yourselves, bridal party, and family for your wedding night or weekend. Rooms are available in both the Victorian House and Log Cabin.
Planning
Vendors
Should you choose to work with our professional wedding coordinator, we will work closely with you to determine your aesthetic and needs. We work with the best vendors in Southern Mississippi and Louisiana and will provide recommendations.
Design
Through lots of collaboration, we will create and execute your perfect design scheme. Our wedding coordinator will meet with you, assist with recommendations for decor and floral arrangements, and help to keep your budget on track.
Rentals
Looking for that one little piece to put the design over the top? From farm tables, antique mismatched chairs, whiskey barrels, a mercury glass bar and furniture for lounge areas - we have all of that and more. Ask about our options!
Looking for low key?
We have Elopement Packages! You and your fiancé can choose your perfect location - from the wedding chapel, historic Victorian house porch, the gazebo, or any stunning spot in the gardens for your private ceremony.
